Hi Reader
There is a hot spring in Iceland where the water comes up through black rock. It has been coming up through that same rock for longer than anyone can remember.
The water does not ask the rock to move. It finds the cracks that already exist, and it moves through them. Steady. Patient. Warm.
Energy moves like that through you.
Spirit begins the cleanse. Energy picks it up and carries it through every layer. Through the field around your body. Through the tight place behind your ribs. Through that spot at the base of your skull where you held the things you never said out loud.
You have felt it this month. The waves. Perhaps a heaviness that came one afternoon that lifts by evening. An old feeling that surfaces in the shower and is gone before you dry off. A dream that leaves you tender in the morning.
This is the current doing its work.
And the current knows where to go. The way water always knows where the rock is thinnest. The way heat always finds the place that needs warming most.
You do not direct this.
You stay with it. The way you stay with a long exhale. All the way to the bottom. All the way to the place where the breath turns and something new begins.
Because there is something at the bottom of this.
You have caught it between the waves. In the stillness after something old releases. A warmth. A solidness. Something that is not moving because it does not need to go anywhere.
It has been there the whole time. And every wave that passes through leaves more of it uncovered. Like a stone in a riverbed that gets cleaner with every season of high water.
You are closer to that stone now than you were two weeks ago. You can feel the shape of it. You can almost put your hand on it.
Stay with the flow. It knows exactly where it is taking you.
