Hi Reader
As we move deeper into this month of Divine Responsibility, I want to share something that has been sitting with me quietly.
Discernment.
It is one of those gifts that grows slowly. We rarely notice it arriving. And yet, when it is present, everything about the way we move through life begins to shift.
Discernment is the ability to recognize when it is time to act and when it is time to pause. It is the gentle wisdom that helps us know when to step forward with responsibility and when to allow life to unfold without interference.
Without it, we may rush into situations that are not ours to solve. We may carry weight that was never meant for our shoulders. Or we may hesitate when something within us is clearly being called to respond.
But when discernment grows within us, our choices become calmer and clearer. We begin to notice the difference between urgency and true responsibility. We learn to listen more closely to that quiet inner knowing that guides our steps.
Divine Responsibility does not demand constant action. It encourages thoughtful action, guided by awareness.
So here is a reflection I want to leave with you today:
Where in your life are you being invited to respond with thoughtful responsibility rather than automatic reaction?
Sit with that for a moment. You may find that even a brief pause before acting can reveal new clarity. A single breath between the impulse and the response can change everything about the choice you make.
As you continue through this month, may your discernment grow stronger. May your choices become aligned with the responsibilities that truly belong to you. And may you trust yourself to know the difference.
Be well and stay well
