Before the famous opening notes of Beethoven’s Fifth, there is a small pause.
A rest.
That silence belongs to the music just as much as the notes that follow.
October invites us to discover that same quiet space within ourselves.
This month’s Divine Message is Divine Space, a gentle reminder of “the space in between.”
A place to reside.
To breathe… to listen… to feel the presence of the Divine.
Sometimes, attention moves so quickly toward whatever comes next that these quiet moments pass unnoticed. And yet, they hold something beautiful.
Room for clarity.
Room for peace.
Room for life to unfold with ease and grace.
Here is a thought to carry gently through the month:
The pause is part of the music.
Last month, the lotus reminded us of the peace that remains within, no matter what is happening around us.
This month, we’ll explore the space between our actions, our emotions, and our thoughts… one at a time.
For today, simply notice the pauses already woven into the day.
The gentle turning of the breath.
The stillness after a door closes.
The quiet moment before someone answers.
Allow those moments a little room.
Rest there for a breath or two… and notice what becomes available when the pause receives as much love and attention as the movement.
