We are sensitive to space, whether or not we admit it. We've all walked into a room and sensed something. We've all entered a home and exhaled without quite knowing why. Space holds energy the way fabric holds scent: invisibly, persistently, and longer than anyone intends.
This month invites us to bring Divine Purification to the spaces around us: the room you are sitting in, the doorway you cross a dozen times a day, the corner of the home where things and feelings tend to pile up.
**A practice for a room**
Choose one space. Small is fine. A single room, even a threshold, is plenty.
Stand in it for a moment.
Awaken and activate the Calligraphy of divine Purification and ask it, in your own words, to purify this space, to clear what has settled here that no longer serves, to carry off the residue of old moods and borrowed energies, to return the room to clean.
If you don't have the ESS Caligraphy Divine Purification, simply ask that space be cleared, cleansed and purified.
Then, and this is the part that matters, don't just clear the space. Notice what you are clearing it *for*. A purified room is not an empty one. It is a room made ready.
Notice that every space you clear, you clear in order to receive something. You sweep the threshold so that something may cross it. You open the window not to admire the emptiness but to let the morning in.
